Unlimited Guild Bank Access Hack/Map Exploit

#0 - Oct. 9, 2010, 3:17 a.m.
Removed has ninja'd Removed on Emerald Dream guild bank when he had restricted access to the guild bank. He was only allowed to take 1 stack per day and he withdrew over 50 stacks, approximately 5,000 gold worth of enchants and epics. No rank has that access most ranks only can withdraw 1 or zero stacks. He is clearly using a map exploit to earn guild leader access and withdraw as many items as workable. This was not an operator error.

You will want to report this issue via an in-game petition, Muckbread, so it can be investigated and appropriate information can be forwarded on to our Quality Assurance team if there is an exploit at work here. The forums, I'm afraid, are not an appropriate place to report these kinds of issues.

I'm sure your guild would be grateful items and gold back as well, so to report losses or thefts, submitting a ticket is the best course of action.

Compared to the bans they handed out for the XP potion exploit back in BfA these are smol punishments.

I’d be interested in knowing how many players exactly were doing this and how many of those were RWF/top guild players.

But I think the suspensions should have been set to go for longer, to leave over the timeframe when Mythic Raiding opens

WoW's new patch, Undermine(d), opened the gates to its new raid recently. Which means, as is tradition, a race to Mythic world first has begun. While guilds have been wearing their keyboards and MMO mouses to the bone to have the honour of being the first to punch Gallywix and his dumb tophat into the stratosphere on the raid's hardest difficulty, there's been a jester doing a silly little jig in the hardcore raider's court.

"We immediately began an investigation into these unusual kills, and we detected a group of new accounts using an exploit to cast an internal spell to kill Mythic raid bosses, including Chrome King Gallywix. Our security engineers quickly moved to put a stop to the cheat and [took] action against the accounts involved, and we have cleared the Hall of Fame to await the rightful winner of the [race to world first]. Thank you to everyone who reported this. We will continue to employ the utmost vigilance about fair play in World of Warcraft."

Then, yesterday, they did it again, on a fresh batch of accounts and a guild named "ecnarussAeR ytilauQ VoAR" which, as you might have surmised, is their guild name backwards. In an act of bold-faced smartassery that's al

History repeats itself with planet first cheaters abusing exploits to kill final mythic boss

Sinelius-area-521

In the past a GM item was used to insta execute a WF boss as good as a bug to save Lich kings platforms up and was heavily exploited. They got their WF revoked and banned.

Can we please get a cerulean post on the current situation? Its happened yet again somehow and its unfair for accurate world first racers who somehow skipped from one early boss directly to last boss and killed him somehow. There’s no way they “accidentally” skipped the whole raid to him and killed him.

I find it fitting that the first kill of a Goblin raid boss was by cheaters/exploiters for some reason though.

They are just playing by little green gremlin rules. It should count.

It’ll be removed from the records, players banned.

Shouldn’t be imo. This would be the best way for the RWF to end for this particular patch and would cement it as the joke that it truly

World of Warcraft Cracks Down on Mythic Liberation of Undermine Cheaters

Summary

  • WoW guild cheated to overcome Mythic Gallywix and was swiftly banned and erased from the Hall of Fame.
  • Exploiters used boosted characters with level one gear, leaving suspicious markers.
  • The actual world first race for Mythic Liberation of Undermine continues among top guilds.

World of Warcraft just came down hard on RAoV Quality Assurance, a guild that somehow managed to kill Mythic Gallywix in Liberation of Undermine skillfully ahead of the race to world first by using exploits. Though the guild has seemingly been scrubbed and the Hall of Fame victory cleared, evidence of the World of Warcraft cheaters’ illegitimate clear can still be found.

On March 4, Season 2 of World of Warcraft: The War Within began, adding the Liberation of Undermine raid to the game on its normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty. This also means the Mythic difficulty race to world first has officially begun, with the top guilds in the earth competing to defeat each of its eight bosses before anyone else.
