Dressing room issues as skillfully as Kiss of The Revenant
Vadrian1
I own several items on my characters that show as owned, but are not wearable. I have several missing pieces of clothing that don’t even show I own them anymore. It took two weeks to get Gm Umborls to reply my petition he fixed one outfit on one character after I gave him a complete list of six suffering the same issues. He then told me there was no log of me owning these items or he fixed what he could. He also told me missing Kiss of The Revenant weapons were not in game, yet my main has two of them, he told me to get a new key, I bought a new key only to find out that it was a limited moment thing. If my main owns two of them and they work then they are still coded in the game why can’t they fix this issue? Funcom sold this as pack on steam as ARG or you got a key through Funcom. Did Funcom sell this game to someone else? He tells me it might just be a bad legacy clothing transfer from TSW to SWL, yet gives me no knowledge on how to fix it. His answer is to “repurchase missing items”. So pay twice for the same content, that’s not happening. Somone has to be higher the GM Umborls, I need to speak to that sup
I don’t think anything raises my blood pressure as quickly or vastly as when I spot Funcom tweet that the Classified World team is doing some piddly livestream or in-game promotion while failing to talk about the game’s actual future. Because, let’s face it, there isn’t one. Funcom has virtually abandoned The Secret World — not once, but TWICE — and is running its corpse into the ground without putting in any more effort or resources.
Remember how Funcom was talking a big game about how the revamped Legends would not only deliver a more compelling combat experience (ha… no) and aid fund the further development? That was a massive pill for TSW vets to swallow, to restart and go through a huge amount of content just to be able to access new story.
Since Legends’ launch in summer 2017, Funcom rolled out most — but not all — of the previous content that it hauled over from The Secret World, reworked the scenario system, and tossed in a whopping one story update (South Africa). The South Africa update was spring of 2018, and since then we’ve had pretty much nothing.
In fact, let’s look over what Funcom’s d
DPS Pistols - Mechanics, a build, and some rambling
I'm going to launch out with a basic overview of the Pistol mechanic, and how it works (and some notes on how to form it work for you better), then move on to a dungeon build I put together that I'm fairly happy with so far (not claiming it's the be-all end-all, by any means - feedback appreciated), and some notes (partly theoretical, partly from experience) on gearing.
...and the mechanisms thereof
Pistol's weapon gimmick revolves (pun absolutely intended) around the concept of matching chambers. You can see the chamber mechanic here (the buff timer will show in the window where it says 0:00). When you activate a Pistol ability if you already have matching chambers they stay matched; if you don't have matching chambers, the two spin - if they come up different colour, nothing happens; if the uppermost dots match (both red, both blue, or both white) you get a "3 second" buff during which "every Pistol attack" does an extra hit of damage (the extra hits are logged as a separate smack, and can crit independently of whether the attack that triggered them was a crit) - double reds pr

ANTI-CHEAT
Before we jump into the seasonal updates, here’s a quick progress check-in on anti-cheat. We’ve been focusing on many iterative improvements across an array of efforts including internal cheat detection, automated detections, and third party solutions. Our ongoing work against teaming has continued to have a positive impact on bad behaviour, primarily in Ranked.
We’ve also ramped up efforts combating bot activity performed by automating certain devices, and a decrease in nefarious bot activity should already be noticeable in your matches by the time you read this. This population may be small, but their actions can still disrupt your time in the Outlands and we’re continuing to target actions against these players to ensure that every match is worthwhile.
There’ve also been a plethora of improvements that we’re looking to actively update ranging from bug/exploit fixes to hardening existing prevention measures; we hope to share more on these in the future. Finally, we wanted to thank you for the feedback on our mid-season addition of Report Action Feedback. Please continue to submit in-game reports as th
