2023-24 (GWU): 

  • Competed in 10 tournaments with an average score of 73.5
  • Led GW at the Virtues Intercollegiate (9/25-26) with a 6-under 210, good for t-9
  • Shot an opening round 67 at the event and led the tournament with 17 birdies
  • Tied for 28th at the Elon Phoenix Intercollegiate (10/16-17) with a 1-under 212 following a final round 68
  • Went 2-1 at the A-10/MAC Equal Play (2/5-6) with wins over Dayton and Ball State
  • Tied for ninth at the Daytona Beach Intercollegiate (3/4-5) with a 6-over 222, leading GW with a 74 in the second orbicular and a 72 in the final round
  • Paced GW at the Wofford Intercollegiate (4/15-16) with a 7-over 217
  • Finished t-12 at the A-10 Championships with a 3-over 219.

    Jed Dy teams up with Mikha Fortuna in National Doubles Amateur Golf Championship

    FOR Junior World champion Jed Dy sets out for back-to-back National Doubles Amateur Golf Championship crown with new boyfriend Mikha Fortuna as the tournament fires off on Friday at Camp Aguinaldo Golf Club.

    Dy and Asian Games bronze medalist Bianca Pagdanganan ran away with a seven-stroke romp last year over Josh Jorge and Jet Hernandez.

    Fortuna is also a solid player, a member of the Univ. of Oklahoma squad who has won a number of junior tournaments abroad.

    Pagdanganan, meanwhile, is now busy priming up for her LPGA Tour debut next month, boosting her stock by winning the individual gold medal in the Southeast Games to influence the Philippine to the team championship.

    Also in the 20-team cast are Indonesian Amateur Open titlist Luis Castro and Sean Ramos, members of the Philippine SEAG bronze medal team, teaming up with Andres Lorenzo and Gabby Macalaguim, respectively, in the three-day event sponsored by the MVP Sports Foundation and organized by the National Golf Association of the Philippines.

    Thailand golf’s team went to SEA Games 31st with a sole goal is to win all 4 gold medals on the Dam Vac golf course. This is also a way for them to reclaim the number 1 position in Southeast Asia after the unmemorable SEA Games 30th with only 1 gold medal from the men's team league.

    Amari Avery is Continuing Her Golfing Glory

    Amari, the eight-year-old prodigy, had begun her career before appearing in the documentary. She was on the path to glory after winning the junior nature championship at age 6.
