The Acorn Festival is an event in Animal Crossing: Wild World that starts on the Monday of the second week of October and ends on the following Sunday. Cornimer will be outside the town hall all week (preventing unique visitors other than K.K. Slider appearing), and he uses his powers to randomly spread acorns around the player's town under non-fruit and non-cedar trees (oak trees). The amount of acorns acquired under each tree varies, and dropped items or designs around the trees may block them from appearing.

The acorn types are:

To improve the chance of collecting all 230 acorns needed, the player can plant as many oak trees as possible before and during the Acorn Festival.

Welcome!

The Acorn Festival has officially started!!!

Here I am walking arround my town and… Hey! There’s a tree with acorns! Yay! Let’s capture them 😈

Here’s Kiki’s view about the festival, I surmise she’ll be catching acorns too! I better hurry up before only rotten acorns are left! 😕

Here you can see my house full of items around it, is it my fault that my wardrobe is complete and I want acorns??? When the festival is over I’m gonna have to clean up my town, and afterwords… I’ll place my path! (it was about time 😛 )

Ohh! Red Dragonfly! Sorry for the worst quality in this pic, these dragonflies move slow but not slow enough to catch them on camera! xD

I planted a few hybrids in the entrance, these will go around my path when it’s placed around my town 😀

Aww! Margie was very nice to me! And she was my way of earning 500 bells for each dress I gave to her! 😦

I love when she calls me “Mitch!” I hope she thinks about this twice before moving…

These are the acorns I’m gonna give Cornimer, better receive rid of that rotten one before I actually give them to him! Here are the di

… that it’s almost acorn festival in October and it’s the best time to prepare it now?

The second week of October is acorn festival (so therefore I think it’s from October 6th until 12th), where acorns are spread over the town under normal trees (no fruit trees and no cedars). Cornimer – actually it’s Tortimer who dressed himself like an acorn xD – stands outside the townhall to collect all your acorns to give you kind special mushroom items, which you can only get at this time and which can’t be ordered at Nook 😀

There are different kind of acorns:

Bad Acorns, Small Acorns, Acorns, Spherical Acorns and Large Acorns

For the mushroom furniture set you desire to collect in total:

The Acorn Festival is a chance to get special furniture and items by giving acorns to Cornimer.

What is the Acorn Festival?

The Acorn Festival is a special event that takes place on the second week of October. During the Acorn Festival, check under the non-fruit, non-pine trees in your town every day, because some of them might have three acorns below them. Be sure to keep the ground clear around your trees, because if there are things on the ground where the acorns would appear, an acorn can't appear there and you'll lose a potential acorn. Collect the non-rotten acorns and give them to Cornimer, who stands outside of the Town Hall. Just talk to him and he will ask if you have any acorns to give him. Say that you do, and then you can move your acorns from your inventory into Cornimer's inventory. If you give him any rotten acorns in a batch, he will throw away all of the acorns in that batch, so be careful!

How do I get ready for the Acorn Festival?

Plant as many non-pine, non-fruit trees in your town as possible before the week of the acorn festival. Make sure each acre in your town has at least one non-pine, n

List of events in Wild World

The following is a list of events in Animal Crossing: Feral World. Wild World does not have special events that are present in the other games in the series, such as Toy Day and Halloween, but does have ones that are unique to it such as La-Di-Day and the Acorn Festival.

Almost all events present in the game are periodic, occurring every month or so. All events are also present in all regions of the game, without any region locking.

January[edit]

  • New Year's Day (January 1): Tortimer greets the player a gleeful new year, and the player can receive fortunes from him.
  • La-Di-Day (second Saturday of January): Villagers participate in a competition to change the Town Tune.
  • Fishing Tourney (third Saturday of January): Tortimer hosts the first Fishing Tourney of the year outside the Town Hall, where the player must catch the largest fish.
  • Yay Day (fourth Sunday of January): The player and villagers exercise giving compliments to each other.

February[edit]

  • Flea Market (first Saturday of February): Villagers allow others to arrive in and buy some of their items, and similarly the player can offer villagers to buy theirs.
