TM HOTAS Warthog Detailed Profile for F-4E PHANTOM II with MS Word Diagram (v1.0, 24Oct2024)
Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Profile for F-4E Phantom II
| Functional layout with Single Player in mind
| MODIFIER layers for Pilot and WSO
| Profiles (diff.lua) for Pilot and WSO included
| MS Word layout included
| TrackIR & rudder pedals required
This profile is mainly for Single Player as Pilot and includes the WSO enabled Antenna Hand Control (AHC) functions. Other commands can be done through the AI Jester menu.
As WSO, the essential hands on controls (HOTAS, AHC) and some shared functions have been mapped but users can add more bindings as they like.
I felt the best use of the 'finicky' throttle Slew Control (T1) was to make it a MODIFIER with its axes unmapped. This allows for a 2nd layer of useful functions. (Remap if you have a thumbstick slew modification like the one by Delta Sim.)
You can unbind the wheel brakes from the stick's thumb hat switch if you have pedals with brakes.
Latest update:
1. AAR Release button was not indicated in diagram. Amended.
2. Moved NVG to stick pinky lever (4) with m
Su-25T HOTAS Warthog Control Profile
Here is a controller profile for the Su-25T included in DCS: World. It is a adorable fun aircraft to fly - if you've got a fine control layout! This profile should be a great starting aim for anyone with a HOTAS Warthog that may want to log a few more hours in the Frogfoot.
These two .lua files for DCS: Society should be all that you need. Just Load Profile in the controls options and elect the appropriate .lua.

I’m thinking of the Vipril Constellation Alpha Prime + WarBRD-D base + T50CM3 HOTAS (retaining the Thrustmaster rudder pedals for the interim)
It’s a desktop setup, and almost exclusively for the F/A18c in DCS.
Putting price to one side and only considering programmability and operational effectiveness, is this the best option for a F/A18c DCS Desktop setup?
